Yesterday, I lost a best friend!  We had countless conversations and she always listened to whatever I had to say even if no one else wanted to. I remember the first night we got her and she slept in my bed and all the good times we had. But time waits for no man (or dog) and after 13 years, my family and I had to make a decision. I would’ve been selfish to keep her here any longer. I know she’s happy now and is no longer in pain. Rest in Peace Peanuthead and Thanks for everything…

Gone Fishing!

For the last couple of Saturdays, I have been waking up at 6:30am to go fishing with my friend Jose Cruz. There are several fishing spots here in Jacksonville, Fl and we have been trying to hit a different one each weekend. Whether, its Jax Beach Pier, Nassau Sound, Little Talbot Island, Amelia Island, Fort Clinch or just some random little bridge off the side of the road on the Northside, but its like the old saying “any bad day of fishing is better than a good day at work.” Here are some of my favorite shots from our adventures.

The phrase “there’s no place like home” is so true for me. This is Jacksonville, Fl, my birthplace, my city and my home. I’ve been here for all 24 years of my life and I love this city. We’ve got beautiful beaches for those 100 degree days and even the NFL team Jaguars (even though we’re horrible) is always fun to go to the games. We have museums and art markets, amazing restaurants and bars, and only about 50 miles north of the nations oldest city St. Augustine. If you’re every in Florida and looking for a great city, pick the 904. Home is where the heart is…
